Verification Product Update - July '24
With a revamped console, Tartan has introduced usage analytics and optimised user journey to make it seamless experience for our clients. Our console is a platform to test and iterate 100+ APIs in a semi-automated manner and it is useful for bulk verification as well. An admin simply has to input relevant user details and customer id to fetch results in real-time.
Earlier, we had incorporated features like User Consent for data security measures, Alerts System to keep admin updated of API downtimes and Access Control for admin to prevent usage of prohibited APIs for specific users. This time, more efforts were put to make this platform more client-friendly in terms of tracking and analysing usage, along with providing categorisation of APIs for various use cases.

Few of the new features initiated on the console are -
1. Recent Activity
There have been cases where client has fetched a result using one of the APIs, but could not export the same at that moment. Hence, we have a feature where users can view their recently used APIs to access results related to recent inputs for re-confirmation. It is a way to simplify access and export previous results.

APIs Statistics
Admin can have a holistic view of their API usage patterns, wherein they are able to access number of API hits, segmentation based on usage, most used APIs and individual usage. This helps the admin to optimise integration spends basis clear monitoring of used APIs. They can also track month-on-month usage of specific APIs to analyse stages with higher user drop-offs to improve conversion rates.
Use Case Buckets
In many cases, clients may not be fully accustomed to the set of APIs that are clubbed together to build an onboarding or verification workflow for users, basis a specific use-case. Therefore, the console provides API sets based on most relevant use-cases which can be directly selected by admin/client to begin with their user verification process. Eg. include sign-up flow in banking, employee verification workflow, lending application workflow, tenant verification etc.
